This community class is for all levels, for beginner to advance.
We will focus on the glute strength, hip mobility, and breathwork to improve your posture and facilitate ease in your body. It is perfect to do after ankle and feet injuries, since all exercises will be modifiable if you cannot stand on your feet or use your ankles.
Mindfulness, form, and mechanical tension verses quantity or the "burn" will be the focus in these classes.

For this class, you will need the following items:
Mat
2 Yoga Blocks
Pillow or towel that you can roll up for cushion
The following are optional items you may want to use:
Kettlebells
Glute bands
Light dumbbell weights (1-5 lbs) or 2 soup cans
Tennis ball
Two paper plates if you have a carpeted floors or Two Hand Towels if you have a smooth wooden floor
Sturdy table or Bench
Stairs, box, pile of books, jump box, or bench for step ups
About the Teacher
Angeles Rios is an embodied movement trainer who works with both emotions and the body to help active people move better, be healthier, and stronger.
She is trained in somatic yoga therapy, pilates, and kettlebell training with a background in basic science research in physical therapy and peripheral nervous system. She is also informed by my meditation practice and involvement in evolutionary biology and ancestral nutrition. With these frameworks and an attuned coaching style, she can create a program that helps you become healthier and stronger.
